Authors of the bill (Reg. No6134), People´s Deputies Konovaliuk V.I., Derkach M.I., Kravchenko M. V., introduce amendments to clause 19 of the Law "On Occupational Safety", pursuant to which the expenses of the employer for the occupational safety at the rate not less 0,5% shall be included into the amount of the production, works, goods and services sold for one year. Amendments to the clause 43 of the law envisage the implementation of the order and mechanism of the penalty execution for the labour legislation violation, procedure of appealing against it and imposing fine for the non-payment or incomplete payment of the penalties by the employer.
The authors emphasised that the suggested amendments aim at the protection of the constitutional rights of the citizens, protection of their life and health in the process of occupational activity and preserving of the sufficient and secure labour conditions.
The Committee members upheld the initiative of the authors regarding strengthening of the supervision on the part of the state over the demands of clause 19 of the Law "On Occupational Safety" in the part of the financing of preventive measures on occupational safety, aimed at the prevention of occupational accidents and professional illness.
